Exactly. To me, She just wants her past to be done and over with. I cant blame her for that, nearly everyone wants at least some of their past to go away. And yes, Religion is a good way to be forgiven for your past, and help ensure that you don’t fall back into the same way of doing things.
If 6 months down the road, She’s still following the road she claims to be on now, then I owe her an apology, And I will apologize to her and admit I was wrong If I in fact am wrong.
But from the things shes done, and like you said, The way she feeds off attention I have a really hard time believing that she’s sincere. As I said to the other anon, Time will tell if this is just another act.

Right, And I understand that completely, And Your right. Everyone does deserve to change their life. I’m not arguing that at all. My main point is that I don’t believe shes truly sincere in what she says. I don’t believe she really wants to change her life, or wants anything to do with religion. I think this is just something to take some of the heat off of her for the things she has done. Something to make herself look better in other peoples eyes.

“This is the happiest I’ve ever been in my life” Makes me feel like she saying everything is so much better. Sure, things might be looking up for her, but they wont change over night. Not after things she’s said and done. It takes more than just saying you found god to make things turn around in your life.
I honestly don’t think she’s sincere in the least bit. Theres not a single thing she has said or done that’s lead me to believe shes sincere in the least bit.

Coming from a family of religion, and with everything I’ve been taught, It’s impossible for me to believe that someone can just flip like a light switch, and their suddenly a better person. Religion doesn’t work that way. Bettering your life at all, let alone with religion, is something that takes TIME.

I don’t care if you agree or if you don’t. It’s just my opinion. I didn’t voice it in hopes of people responding, or even noticing. It was just me venting. Where I come from, religion is taken seriously, so yes, it bothers me to see someone claiming to have found god in their life, when I doubt their sincere in the least bit.

Newsflash, saying you believe in god wont save you. believing in something, is more then just words and saying it. Its believing it from the bottom of your heart, and putting complete faith and heart into it. Not just religion, its like that with anything you choose to believe in. But religiously speaking, saying she found god won’t just now make up for the mistakes she’s made and sins she’s commited. It’ll take a lot more for that girl.
